Fmoc-4-(Boc-amino)-D-phenylalanine is an intermediate used to prepare doxorubicin-formaldehyde peptide conjugates targeting αvβ3 integrin. It is also used in the synthesis of peptide acyloxymethyl ketones as selective caspases inhibitors.
