Description

3-hydroxy Tridecanoic acid methyl ester is a hydroxylated fatty acid methyl ester and major fatty acid component of A. lipolytica and A. glycerini. It has been used in the synthesis of components of the female sex pheromone of the painted apple moth (T. anartoides). [Matreya, LLC. Catalog No. 1734]
