Synthesis

Using Knorr pyrrole synthesis, diethyl 2,4-dimethyl-pyrrole-3,5-dicarboxylate was synthesized via one-pot method with ethyl acetoacetate and sodium nitrite as starting materials in the presence of acetic acid and zinc powder.
