prepro-thyrotropin releasing hormone (160-169) Usage And Synthesis
Uses
Prepro-TRH-(160-169) is one of the connecting peptides of thyrotropin-releasing hormone prohormone (pro-TRH), potentiates TRH-induced thyrotropin (TSH) release[1].
in vivo
In urethane-anesthetized rats, Prepro-TRH-(160-169) (Ps4; 100 ng, 150 ng and 200 ng; injected into dorsal motor nucleus (DMN)) potentiates TRH in the DMN-evoked gastric acid secretion through an action that is peptide and site specific[1].
