ALPHA-HYDROXYMIDAZOLAM-D4 Usage And Synthesis
Uses
The Certified Spiking Solution(R) is suitable for quantitative testing of α-Hydroxymidazolam by HPLC, GC/MS, or LC-MS/MS methods in forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, and Cannabis potency or impurity profiling testing applications.
The Certified Reference Material (CRM) in solution can also be used as follows:
- Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method based determination of 12 psychotropic drugs and their metabolites in guinea pig hair samples
- Multiresidue analysis of 18 benzodiazepines in human blood and hair samples using LC–MS/MS
- Detection and estimation of 21 benzodiazepines and three z-drugs from human hair samples after their two-step extraction by LC–MS/MS
- Simultaneous analysis of 54 benzodiazepine and three z-drug residues from human urine and blood samples by ultra high-performance liquid chromatography- triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QqQ-MS/MS) method
- Analysis of 26 compounds, comprising 18 benzodiazepines, seven benzodiazepine metabolites, and one z-drug from dried blood spot (DBS) cards using LC-MS/MS
General Description
α-Hydroxymidazolam is an active, major metabolite in urine and blood of the benzodiazepine midazolam. Midazolam is sold as Dormicum, Hypnovel?, and Versed as a sedative and treatment for insomnia and seizures. This internal standard is suitable for midazolam testing or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS for clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, pain prescription monitoring or forensic analysis applications.
