FENFURAM Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
Methylfurfurylamide is a milky white solid with 98% active ingredient content, melting point 109~110°C. It is a colorless crystalline solid. Pure product is colorless crystalline solid, vapor pressure 0.020mPa ( 20 ℃), Henry constant 4.02 × 10 Pa -m2'/mol. solubility in water 0.1g/L (2o ℃). Solubility in organic solvents(g/L,20℃):Acetone 300,Cyclohexanone 340,Methanol 145,Xylene 20.Stable to heat and light,Stable in neutral medium, but easy to decompose in strong acid and strong base.
Uses
Fenfuram is a chemical compound from the group of amides and furans (furancarboxylic acid amides ). Fenfuram was discovered by Shell as a fungicide and 1974 brought by Keno Gard (later Aventis ) on the market. It belongs to the succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors.
Definition
