Description
Anti-aging additive can stop the oxidation process from deteriorating the polymer's mechanical characteristics, retaining its good state, and extending its longevity. 6-PPD also called Antioxidant 4020, is an antioxidant that is the most commonly used additive in rubber and enters the environment through large emissions of tire wear particles.
Characteristics
Anti-aging additive 6PPD (4020) has good compatibility with rubber, is not easy to swell, is non-volatile, has low toxicity, and has excellent resistance to oxidation, ozone, bending resistance, and cracking resistance. It is a white solid, which will gradually oxidize to a brown solid when exposed to air.
