Uses

2-Iodopropane-d₇ may be used in the preparation of deuterium labeled prenyldiphosphate and prenylcysteine derivatives, and 1-(isopentylsulfonyl)benzene-d₇.

General Description

2-Iodopropane-d₇ is 2-iodopropane with all the hydrogen atoms substituted by deuterium. Its synthesis from 2-propanol-d₈ has been reported.
