α-Methyl-p-tyrosine (250 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection, single dose) can exacerbate the severity and duration of tonic and clonic seizures induced by Pentylenetetrazol in male CFI mice[2].

Animal Model:Pentylenetetrazol (PTZ)-induced epilepsy CFI strain mouse model (15-25 g)
Dosage:250 mg/kg
Administration:Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), single dose, PTZ administered 8 hours after α-Methyl-p-tyrosine injection?
Result:Increased the severity and duration of seizures, especially enhancing tonic and clonic seizures induced by PTZ.
