Synthesis
4,4'-Diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonylamine , is prepared by nitration of dianthrimide followed by reduction , or by oxidation of a mixture of 1-aminoanthraquinone and 1,4- diaminoanthraquinone in aqueous sulfuric acid .
