Definition
The complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the distillation of products from the hydrogenation of isooctanal from the hydroformylation of heptene. It consists predominantly of C7 olefins and paraffins and C8 alcohols and aldehydes and boils in the range of approximately 85.degree.C to 183.degree.C (185.degree.F to 361.degree.F).
