7-Hydroxy-2,2-dimethyl-4-chromanone (compound 41) is an inhibitor of DC-SIGN (Dendritic Cell-Specific Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 3 grabbing non-integrin), with an IC50 of 4.66 mM[1]. DC-SIGN is the C-type lectin receptor presenting on the surface of both macrophages and dendritic cells[2].
