Uses

Photoinitiator 6012, chemically known as 3-methyl-4-phenylbenzophenone, is a highly efficient free radical (II) type solid photoinitiator. It is suitable for formulations requiring low odor or odorlessness, such as clear varnishes, plastic coatings, adhesives, offset printing inks, and screen printing inks. It is recommended for use in cigarette packaging inks. It is suggested to use it in conjunction with amine synergists.
