Definition
Distillates (petroleum), hydrofined lubricating-oil is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the condensation of the stripper overheads from a hydrofining process for lube oil. It consists of 50% hydrofined lube oil with the rest being lighter hydrocarbons and boiling in the range of approximately 21.degree.C to 482.degree.C (70.degree.F to 900.degree.F).
