Definition
Distillates (petroleum), alkene-alkyne manuf. pyrolysis oil, naphthalene fraction is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by the distillation of residual oils obtained during the pyrolytic production of alkenes and alkynes from petroleum products or natural gas. It consists predominantly of aromatic hydrocarbons having two or more rings and boiling in the range of approximately 210.degree.C to 225.degree.C (410.degree.F to 437.degree.F).
