Extracts (petroleum), light naphtha solvent Usage And Synthesis
Definition
Extracts (petroleum), light naphtha solvent is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained as the extract from a solvent extraction process. It consists predominantly of aromatic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C6 through C8 and boiling in the range of approximately 80.degree.C to 145.degree.C (176.degree.F to 293.degree.F). This stream is likely to contain 10 vol. % or more benzene.
