GADOLINIUM ACETATE Usage And Synthesis
Application
Acetic acid etchant can be used in industries such as alloy material additives and chemical reagents. An example of its application is as follows: A gadolinium-doped hollow vesicle nanocomposite material, which uses gadolinium-doped silica hollow vesicles as the main body, with a photosensitizer and silane-containing polyethylene glycol modified on the surface of the main body. In the main body, the molar ratio of gadolinium to silica is 0.8–1.5 mmol: 80–120 mg, and the weight ratio of the main body, photosensitizer, and silane-containing polyethylene glycol is 40–50: 0.5–1.6: 30–50. The etching of solid spheres into hollow spheres is a surface catalytic reaction. This composite material uses gadolinium acetate as the etchant, solid silica microspheres as the silicon source and hard template, and CO2 generated at high temperature using acetate as a soft template to synthesize hollow vesicle microspheres in one step. The photosensitizer is then modified to give the material photodynamic and photothermal properties, which can be used to prepare contrast agents or functional materials with photodynamic and photothermal therapeutic effects.
