Maternal ingestion of tetracyclines during pregnancy may cause tooth discoloration, enamel defects, and other congenital anomalies. <br>Hepatotoxicity, pancreatitis, and renal failure may occur in pregnant women following ingestion of tetracyclines during pregnancy.
