Description

DSPE-PEG-CH2COOH, MW 2,000 is a PEG polymer with DSPE and carboxylic acid end groups. The DSPE-PEGs have been FDA approved for medical applications. The hydrophobic properties of the DSPE allow for the encapsulation and congregation of other hydrophobic drugs. The -COOH group can react with primary amines in the presence of activator, such as EDC or HATU, to form a stable amide bond.

Uses

DSPE-PEG-Carboxylic Acid is a phospholipid PEG conjugate. DSPE-PEG-Carboxylic Acid can be widely used in the delivery of targeted agents and genes[1].
