Uses
Tenuifoliside A is the active extract in Polygala. In recent years, more and more researches have been conducted on such chemical constituents in Polygalaceae, and its brain protection and anti-aging effects have been paid more and more attention.
Biological Activity
Tenuifoliside A, isolated from Polygala, has anti-apoptotic and anti-depressant effects. In C6 cells, it exhibits its neurotrophic effects and promotes cell proliferation through the ERK/CREB/BDNF signaling pathway.
