N,N-Dimethyl-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethylamine (DMTFEA) is a fluorinated compound containing a cyclohexane ring. DMTFEA has halogenated fluorine functional groups and can be used in substitution reactions or in the synthesis of other organofluorinated compounds. DMTFEA can also be used in the preparation of macrocyclic broad-spectrum antibiotic drugs.
