Osmanthus Absolute Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

Application

1. Skin Care: Osmanthus essential oil contains ionones, making it suitable for oily-on-the-outside, dry-on-the-inside skin with large pores. It has excellent repairing and nourishing effects on dry and aging skin, leaving it smooth and delicate. The ionone content in osmanthus flowers is higher than in violet leaves, thus its ability to promote cell regeneration is exceptional, making it a rare and valuable skincare oil. Osmanthus essential oil can also promote blood circulation, improve cell tissue, and invigorate skin vitality, accelerating blood circulation and improving pale complexion. 2. Body Care: Osmanthus essential oil can soothe bronchial activity, helping to relieve coughs, reduce phlegm, and alleviate asthma. It can stimulate circulation, effectively addressing problems such as poor blood circulation caused by weather, lifestyle habits, and environmental factors. Description

Essential oil composition

The absolute contains (as% of volatiles) linolenic acid 17.4%, linoleic acid 8.7, palmitic acid 8.6, β-ionone, oleic acid 7.0, dihydro-β-ionone 6.4, ethyl linolenate 6.3, (+)-decan-4-olide 4.0, ethylpalmitate 3.4, ethyl linoleate 3.1, dihdro-β-inol 3.0 and others.

Aroma threshold values

Aroma characteristics at 1.0%: sweet, woody, herbal and floral with aromatic fruity berry notes and citrus, juniper and gin-like nuances.

Taste threshold values

Taste characteristics at 5 ppm: ionone-like woody, fruity with good berry depth, slightly citrus and floral.
