Chemical Properties
Pure product is white crystal, melting point 199～201℃, insoluble in water, 100ml acetone can dissolve 1g, soluble in DMF and pyridine and other organic solvents. Difficult to dissolve in water, ethanol, benzene, soluble in dimethyl alum. Easily decomposed by alkali and stronger acid, stable storage at room temperature, more stable to light and heat.
Uses
Chlorobenzuron is a chitin synthetase inhibitor, acts as an insecticide. Chlorobenzuron can inhibit larvae development and pupate[1].
