Description

Biotin-PEG7-thiourea is reactive with amine-containing macromolecule. The hydrophilic PEG arm improves water solubility. The biotin groups serve as an affinity label towards the proteins avidin and streptavidin. The thiourea group can be used as a source of sulfide, such as for converting alkyl halides to thiols.

Uses

Biotin-PEG7-thiourea is a biotin-labeled, PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
