Biological Activity

2-Amino-3,5-difluoropyridine is a compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus. It has also been used in pharmaceutical preparations for infectious diseases, such as diabetic neuropathy. Hydrogen bonding plays an important role in the mechanism of 2-Amino-3,5-difluoropyridine and its interactions with other molecules. The antimicrobial activity of this molecule has been studied using solid dispersions and molecular modeling techniques.
