5 (6) - Carboxytetramethylrhodamine (5 (6) - TAMRA) is a kind of fluorescent dye, can be used for protein markers. 5(6)-TAMRA contains carboxylic acid reactive groups, which can react with primary and secondary amine groups on proteins, nucleic acids and other biomolecules. This bright orange fluorescent dye can produce conjugates with a maximum absorption/emission wavelength of approximately 555/580 nm.
