5-Chloro-2,4-difluoroaniline is a halogenated aniline analog, which contains an amino unit and a chlorine atom in its structure, and exhibits abundant chemical transformation activities. Firstly, the amino group in the structure of aniline can undergo cross-coupling reaction with aryl halogenated compounds catalyzed by metallic palladium, and can also undergo condensation reaction with carboxylic acids to obtain the corresponding amide derivatives under the action of condensation agents. In addition, the fluorine atom on the benzene ring in the structure of 5-chloro-2,4-difluoroaniline can be defluorinated under the attack of strong nucleophilic reagents.

Uses

5-Chloro-2,4-difluoroaniline can be used as reactant/reagent in preparation of aminoisoxazoline compds. as agonists of α7-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.
