Uses
1,3,5-Tris(3,5-dibromophenyl)benzene can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of MOF material ligands and COF material monomers.
General Description
This triphenylbenzene derivative, also known as 3,3'',5,5''-tetrabromo-5'-(3,5-dibromophenyl)-1,1':3',1''-terphenyl, presents as a pale yellow to greyish-reddish yellow crystalline powder. Store in a cool and dark place. 1,3,5-Tris(3,5-dibromophenyl)benzene is known to be incompatible with oxidizing agents and should not be handled near them.
