3397-65-7
Methyl laurate and monosodium glutamate were used as raw materials and mixed in a molar ratio of 1.8:0.7. Potassium oxide and magnesium oxide were added as metal oxide catalysts, and the amount of catalyst added was 0.05% of the total weight of the reactants. The reaction was carried out according to the one-step synthesis method of Example 1. In the primary mixer, the reaction temperature is controlled at 20 to 30°C, in particular, the mixer inlet temperature is controlled at 25°C, and the mixer outlet temperature is controlled at 25°C; the pH of the reaction system is maintained at 10. In the secondary mixer, the reaction temperature is controlled at 30 to 40°C, in particular, the secondary mixing inlet temperature is controlled at 35°C, and the outlet temperature of both mixers is controlled at 35°C ; the pH of the reaction system was maintained at 13. Upon completion of the reaction, 0.069% of the methanol by-product was obtained by separation, resulting in lauroyl glutamic acid with 88.67% active sodium content and 98% purity.
