BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester Usage And Synthesis
Description
BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP Ester is a cleavable ADC linker. PFP ester can be reactive with amine-bearing molecule to form stable amide bond. The Val-Cit will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. As this enzyme is only present in the lysosome, the ADC payload will be released only in the cell. The BCN group can react with azide-tagged biomolecules.
Uses
BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester is a cleavable 3 unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester is a click chemistry reagent, it contains a BCN group that can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing Azide groups.
