Reactive Orange 5 Usage And Synthesis

Chemical Properties

Orange powder. Solubility in water (50℃) is 70g/L. Aqueous solution is golden yellow, add 1mol/L sodium hydroxide to dark yellow, then add insurance powder and warm to light yellow, then add sodium perborate is still light yellow. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it is dark reddish sauce color, with precipitation, after dilution, it is golden yellow. Golden yellow in concentrated nitric acid, light yellow after dilution.

Uses

Reactive Orange 5 can be used for dyeing and printing of cotton, linen, viscose and other fabrics

Reactive Orange 5 was synthesized by condensation and coupling reaction of aniline-2,5-bissulfonic acid, J acid, cyanuric chloride and m-aminobenzenesulfonic acid.
