1,4,7-triazacyclononane-N,N',N''-triacetic acid Usage And Synthesis

Description

NOTA is a bifunctional chelating agent that shows high complexation constant with metals, such as gallium.

Uses

NOTA is a bifunctional chelate which acts as the framework to construct PET imaging tools. NOTA also can be used for probe design and signal amplification via the multivalent effect. NOTA can be used in multiple myeloma, breast cancer, lymphoma and myocardial infarction research[1][2][3][4][5][6].

in vivo

NOTA participates in the synthesis of [64Cu]NOTA-pentixather to enables high resolution PET imaging of CXCR4 expressionin in Daudi lymphoma-bearing severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) mice [3].
NOTA participates in the synthesis of 68Ga-NOTA-RGD for MicroPET/CT imaging of αvβ3integrin in rat myocardial infarction[4].
NOTA participates in the synthesis of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-Nb1053 for immunoPET imaging of multiple myeloma[5].
NOTA is a superior chelator to DOTA for PET imaging with 64Cu-labeled TRC105 in 4T1 murine breast tumor-bearing mice[6].
