Chemical Properties
White powder, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, DMSO, etc., derived from the root of Cyclea polypetala Dunn of the Menispermaceae family.
Uses
l-Bebeerine is a bisbenzylisoqinoline alkaloid which displays anto-allergic properties. In addition, has been shown to arrest cell cycle activity and induce apoptosis.
