N-Epsilon-formyl-L-lysine is pyrrolysine analogs used as substrates for pyrrolysyl-tRNA synthetase also, used in preparation of derivatives of the Triterpene enfumafungin for therapeutic use as antifungal agents and (1,3)-β-D-Glucan synthase inhibitors.
