Immunogen

Anti-human PPIC mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human PPIC amino acids 39-197 purified from E. coli.

Background

Peptidylprolyl Isomerase C (PPIC) belongs to the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and hasten the folding of proteins. Like other PPIases, PPIC binds immunosuppressant cyclosporin A.
