Uses
strawberry extract (Fragaria vesca) is astringent. The fruit contains a variety of constituents including malic and citric acids, sugar, mucilage, pectin, woody fiber, and water. It also contains ascorbic acid, thereby supporting early claims of bleaching properties. extract from the fruit was recommended for use on sunburned areas to soothe the skin.
