Preparation

Properties and Applications
blue. Blue powder. Slightly soluble in hot water, soluble in Sodium sulfide, almost colorless, insoluble in other organic solvent. In concentrated sulfuric acid for cobalt blue, blue precipitation after dilution. Used for cotton, viscose, linen fabric and vinylon/cotton blended fabric dyeing, also used in leather and paper dyeing.
