Chemical Properties

Golden orange powder. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is golden orange, adding concentrated hydrochloric acid is orange; adding concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is brownish yellow. Still soluble in ethanol, golden orange color. Orange color in concentrated sulfuric acid, still orange after dilution.

Uses

C.I. Acid orange 33 is an acidic orange-yellow dye that can be adsorbed and removed by bentone.

Preparation

1,1-Bis(4-aminophenyl)cyclohexane double nitriding, respectively with the 7-Hydroxynaphthalene-1,3-disulfonic acid and phenol coupling.

Properties and Applications

red light orange. Soluble in water for gold orange, in ethanol has a solubility, orange for gold. The strong sulfuric acid in orange, diluted the same color. Its water solution with hydrochloric acid into orange; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution for yellow brown. Mainly used for wool, silk and polyamide fiber dyeing and printing, also can be used for paper, hemp, sisal, leather and straw dyeing.
