Uses
Trevogrumab (REGN-1033) is a monoclonal antibody targeting GDF8 (growth differentiation factor 8, also known as myostatin). Trevogrumab is used in research on muscle wasting conditions, including disuse atrophy, chronic diseases, and changes in food and nutrient intake[1][2][3].
in vivo
Trevogrumab (10 mg/kg, s.c., twice a week for 4 weeks) significantly increases muscle mass and strength in CB17-SCID and C57BL/6 mice[3].
