Description

Fraxamoside shows significant free radical scavenging effect against DPPH(EC50=66 uM). Fraxamoside is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor (XOI) comparable in potency in vitro to the standard antigout drug allopurinol.

Uses

Fraxamoside is a competitive xanthine oxidase inhibitor with an IC50 of 16.1 μM and a Ki of 0.9 μM[1].
