Toxicity

The acute oral LD₅₀ value in rats was reported as 3.65 g/kg (2.71-4.91 g/kg)by Weir (1971) and as 2.8 g/kg by Jenner, Hagan, Taylor, Cook & Fitzhugh ( 1964). The acute dermal LD₅₀ value in rabbits was reported as > 5 g/kg (Weir, 1971).
