Uses
5-Methyltetrazole can be used in the synthesis of new-generation cephalosporin antibiotics. Its intermediates have wide applications in the synthesis of antifungal drugs and also have wide applications in the electronics field.
Synthesis
Steps for the aqueous phase synthesis of 5-chloromethyl-1H-tetrazole: 1. Put sodium azide, acetonitrile, zinc chloride and appropriate amount of deionized water into the atmospheric pressure reaction equipment for the reaction, after the end of the reaction to get 5-phenyltetrazole zinc salt; 2. 5-phenyltetrazole zinc salt obtained in step (1) in the dropwise addition of 30% sodium hydroxide solution, stirring the reaction, the reaction is over to produce 5-methyltetrazole sodium salt; 3. The 5-methyl tetrazole sodium salt obtained in step (2) is added hydrochloric acid dropwise, stirring reaction, finished adding ethyl acetate extraction, take the oil layer, distillation, centrifugation, drying that is 5-methyl tetrazole boutique; 4. The 5-methyl tetrazole boutique obtained in step (3) is obtained after drying treatment that is 5-methyl tetrazole finished product.
