Description
This monoterpenoid alkaloid occurs in Alstonia venenata, being present in the fruit to the extent of 0.0008 per cent. The earlier structure based upon the infra_x0002_red and NMR spectra has recently been modified to that given above, determined from ORO-CD data and comparison with L-( - )-Actinidine.
Uses
Venoterpine (RW 47) is a natural product. Venoterpine shows anti-aging activities[1].
