Uses

Lamiide is an iridoid glycoside from Phlomis pungens and exhibits antioxidant activity.

Definition

ChEBI: Lamiide is a terpene glycoside.

in vivo

Lamiide (12.5-100 mg/kg; p.o. 30 min before Carrageenin injection) dose-dependently reduces Carrageenin-induced edema[1].

Animal Model:Female Wistar rats (8-weeks old, 150-200 g) were injected with Carrageenin in the subplantar aponeurosis of the right hind paw[1]
Dosage:12.5, 25, 50, 100 mg/kg
Administration:P.o. 30 min before Carrageenin injection
Result:Reduced Carrageenin-induced edema, with an ED50 of 62.3 mg/kg.
