Continentalic Acid is a diterpenic acid isolated from the roots of Aralia continentalis. It shows significant anti-inflammatory activity, and was found to induce growth inhibition and apoptosis of HepG2 cells, proving to be a good candidate as an effective chemotherapeutic agent.
