Vapor may form explosive mixture with air. May accumulate static electrical charges, and may cause ignition of its vapors. Water contact slowly forms hydrochloric acid. Incompatible with oxidizers (chlorates, nitrates, peroxides, permanganates, perchlorates, chlorine, bromine, fluorine, etc.); contact may cause fires or explosions.
