Chemical Properties

Colorless prismatic crystals, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, from the bitter bean seeds, legume bitter bean grass (Sophora alopecuroides L.) seeds and above ground.

Uses

Aloperine is a quinolizidine alkaloid with potential to treat inflammatory and allergic diseases.
