Synthesis
Add 150g of tetrachlorophthalic anhydride, 35g of sodium hydroxide and 600g of distilled water in a pressure kettle, stirring to raise the temperature, the temperature is controlled at 190??C for the reaction, the pressure is controlled at 18kg/cm2, the reaction is cooled down after 10h, the material is pressed out of the pressure kettle, and the concentration of 10% of hydrochloric acid solution is added to adjust the ph value to 1, the precipitation of white solids, pumping and filtration, washing with clean water and drying, to obtain 2, 3, 4, 5-tetrachlorobenzoic acid, the content of which is 99.2% by HPLC. 4,5-tetrachlorobenzoic acid, the content was 99.2% by HPLC.
