1F-fructofuranosylnystose Usage And Synthesis

Chemical Properties

White crystalline powder, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and DMSO, derived from sugarcane and Morinda officinalis.

Uses

1,1,1-Kestopentaose is a fructan found in the taproot of Cichorium intybus and are degraded by fructan exohydrolases. 1,1,1-Kestopentaose is biologically produced from inulin by yeast.

Synthesis

A method of preparing a sucrose monomer comprising the steps of:

(1) dissolving an oligofructose sample with water and filtering it with a filter membrane to obtain a solution of the prepared sample;

(2) The preparative sample solution was separated by preparative high performance liquid chromatography and each fraction was collected under the following chromatographic conditions: the chromatographic column was XAmide, the mobile phase was acetonitrile and water, the column temperature was room temperature, the mobile phase rate was 8-12 ml/min, the injection volume was 200-300μl each time, and the detector was either a differential detector or an evaporative light scattering detector;

(3) The collected fractions were concentrated and dried under reduced pressure to obtain sucrose trisaccharides, sucrose tetrasaccharides and sucrose pentasaccharides, respectively.
