White crystalline powder, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and DMSO. It is derived from Polygala tenuifolia Willd.

Uses

Tenuifoliside C, isolated from polygala tenuifolia willd, significantly inhibits chlorzoxazone 6-hydroxylation catalyzed by CYP2E1[1].
